Course overview
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates who wish to proceed to the degree of PhD or LLM by research (major thesis) in any of the main research areas of full-time permanent academic members of staff of the Faculty. Candidates are advised to contact the relevant staff member before applying in order to discuss their proposed topic or area of research.
Candidates who are unsure who to contact in relation to supervision, or who wish to obtain more information, should review the current relevant staff listing or contact Dr. Ciara Smyth or the School of Law Administration.
Candidates, proposed topic, and intended supervisor of research must be approved by the School. The PhD by research may be pursued under the on a full time basis and the LL.M by research may be pursued on a full-time or part-time basis.
