Course overview
This is a Structured PhD programme for experienced midwives which aims to further develop practice expertise and capacity to assure quality and patient outcomes, lead and manage change. This programme has been specifically developed for experienced midwives in leadership roles.
Students are required to undertake the following compulsory modules on the programme (totalling 90 ECTS):
- Advanced Nursing Concepts in Theory and Practice
- Health Economics and Influencing Policy
- Systematic Review and Research Synthesis
- Leadership and Interprofessional Collaboration
- Research Practice
